Vinshēk Khaki Heritage Suit"

Garvenchy designed The "Vinshēk Khaki Heritage Suit" as an homage to the uniform of the last school he attended in Cap-Haitien, Collège Saint-Joseph. 

In Haiti, khaki has a significant association with uniforms, especially in military and law enforcement contexts. Historically, khaki was widely used for military uniforms during various regimes, including the Duvalier era, when the military and paramilitary forces, like the Tonton Macoutes, often wore khaki uniforms. This association can evoke strong memories or feelings for those who lived through these periods, as khaki uniforms were a symbol of authority and, at times, fear.
